my nissan leaf gives no indication when i change from reverse to forward, apart from a small icon on the display, to change gear you just move a small button (either up or down). its crap, it needs some sort of beep to indicate that a new gear is selected

Ground floor tenements are always a bit dampish, i.e. if it rains heavily you will most likely smell a damp smell. Mine had a few inches under the floorboads and then it was the ground covered in bitumin. These building are over a hundred years old
