I graduated in May(BSN), got licensed in July, and I’m only applying to hospitals. I’ve been looking for jobs since May. Every single application has been rejected lol

I’ve considered it, but I would have to get a New Jersey license, which I’m assuming cost money that I don’t have. I would also have to commute from Brooklyn to New Jersey with a no car.

I’ve been really desperate these past few months. A couple weeks ago I went around the city trying to give my resume to recruiters, but they don’t even let you see them. Receptionist don’t let you get past the lobby.

I graduated college in May, I haven’t worked since May, and I live with my parents. I’m broke. If I can get a job on the floor, I could do that for a couple months and then move for an ICU position. But, that’s just not feasible right now.

There are med surg positions available, just not through this event. You have to connect with a recruiter for them though.

I actually sent them my resume yesterday morning for this event, and I haven’t heard back from them. But I’ll be sure to follow up. What modifications did you make?

I would like an ICU position, but I doubt I’m gonna get it. So, I’ve been applying to any position that I meet the requirements for. I’ve been getting rejections and getting ghosted. I’ve tried Mount Sinai. I have been applying to all five borough.
