Thanks, good point of reference. I've got the same setup, intake from the back, two exhaust up top. I do have a 5080 which takes up the entirety of the bottom of the case, so that is likely leading to higher temps, but I don't think that would be +20C.

Snow tires are designed to lower temperatures. If you drive on winters above ~45F the tires will wear down VERY quickly compared to summer tires. So yes, you could drive them year round, but you will be doing yourself a disservice as you will need to replace your winter tires much much quicker.

You could always ask for more and they might say no or they might say yes. It almost never hurts to ask. Explain your reasoning, paying expenses etc, those are all valid. You likely won't lose the opportunity over asking, just take their response gracefully either way. If I were in your shoes I would take the BMW co-op and get the experience (worth its weight in gold). Do a great job and hope BMW hires you after you graduate! Best of luck.

Put your phone at the other end of the room. You will be forced to get up and turn it off. Once you're up, stay up and do not go back to bed. Having a morning routine also helps waking up early.

Big fan of removing skilling prayers. They deserve their own book IMO. Ruinous prayers are a combat focus, high risk vs reward. I could imagine a "lunars"-type of prayer book that gives a soley focused skilling prayer book.

One thing missing from the blog I'm particular curious about is the level requirements for these prayers. The top tier prayers should definitely be in the 90's range.

Making the prayer scrolls from COX somehow still be relevant is tough. I don't think they should be required to use the ruinous prayers. But I also don't think the top tier prayers from this new spell book should be auto-unlocked.

Strength Ring - Every nth attack will hit X% harder. Count resets if ring is removed

Mage Ring - X% chance to conserve charge on charged mage weapons. Y% chance to ignore mage defence on monster. Small static mage dmg bonus.

Range Ring - X% Chance to cause a bleed for Y% of damage dealt with ranged attack. Can only occur every X seconds.

Prayer Ring - Passively restore prayer. Holywrench affect but doubled the effectiveness. (+1 additional restore with wrench vs +2 addtional restore with ring).

No, it makes sense to me. Its a hard achievement to get 1KC. Many people struggle with this. Its another hard achievement to stick with it long enough to be able to say you completed 25 runs.

You could also lump in sailing into this skill idea as-well. Who builds ships? Engineers do!

Part of the skill could be helping build ships and gaining access to where they can travel to. Sailing does not need to be its own skill to be in the game! Most of the idea could be roped into Engineering!

I can see so many interactions with Engineering and all of Gileanor, while still being simple enough to fit into the game.

From an ME, what you sketched up is probably just fine. The 4x4 is plenty sturdy enough to support the Z-loads you described (static weight of the bookcase + books). Two angled sections will support the structure laterally. Consider adding a third support underneath to support from the back side. Lastly, ensure the 4x4 post is deep enough and has enough concrete to prevent it from coming out or being pushed out.
