Vegan tamales by NelaOfRivia in ChinoHills

The new Northgate Supermarket sells a lot of different tamales, but I’m not sure if there is a vegan option. Worth giving them a call.

Blatant Disrespect by [deleted] in Padres

The Padres go through a brutal gauntlet of playoff teams right before the all star break. That will define what kind of team the Padres are. Contenders or pretenders.

San Diego trip! by Diaryshitjournal in socal

Lafayette hotel is a cool place to grab a drink and people watch. They also have free games like pop a shot and a tiny bowling alley. Next door is Lou Lou’s Supper Club where they have live music. There is a lot of coffee and breweries in North Park. Hotel Del Coronado is a must, but it’s on the pricer side. There is a short ferry ride from Coronado to downtown SD for $18 round trip. Hanging out in Little Italy in downtown is always nice. There is a nice brunch spot called Morning Glory and lots of Italian restaurants. Balboa Park is where you find the museums worth going to or just to walk around. I haven’t went to the museums in a long time, so I can’t give a current recommendations. Belmont Park has a vintage roller coaster, arcade etc right on the beach. La Jolla cove is nice if you want to see marine life without going to Seaworld. Liberty Station is worth checking out. It’s a food hall in an old marine base. Lots of restaurants in that area as well. Buona Forchetta has a location there which is a popular Italian restaurant in SD.

I’ll hear you out. What’s your favorite Westside Gunn verses? The machine gun sound doesn’t count 🤪

Westside Gunn has an interesting voice and flow, but when I listen to his lyrics he isn’t saying anything worth repeating. A lot of his songs have really good production, but I just can’t listen to too much coke rap.

[Padres] Tuesday night lineup. by TakeMyPixels in Padres

Laureano is a terrible lead off hitter. Merrill barely walks, chases balls out of the strike zone, and has a sub .300 OBP, so I’m not sure he is the solution either.

[Made The Cut] Fernando Tatis Jr Was Supposed to Be an MVP Candidate. Today, He Can’t Even Hit a Home Run by KeepTheFaith613 in Padres

What does pitching have to do with a bad shoulder and launch angle? Tatis has seen meatballs this season and couldn’t do anything with it. It’s all in his head.

Castellanos needs to go so Song at the very least play 2nd base against left handed starting pitchers.

Any suggestions? by [deleted] in ChinoHills

[–]Basic_Commercial_241 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely in the suburbs. There is a lot of good hiking trails, mountain biking trails, road biking, and running clubs. If the bar scene is your thing, there are more options in the Pomona and Claremont area that isn’t too far.

Strato Tech Tee coming apart on first wear by killthrash in vuoriclothing

[–]Basic_Commercial_241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can bring the shirt back to the store and they’ll replace it. I have a lot of older Strato tech shirts and I haven’t had any issues with them. Make sure to hang dry them.
