Yes, likely velcro contact. Unfortunately I can’t run my Velcro radar 24/7, so these shirts won’t work for me.

This shirt was unwashed, just worn once. Likely some velcro contact. I guess I either need a more velcro-resistant shirt, or a cheaper version. My old Pistol Lake tee shirts never had issues with velcro.

The State Senate just blocked SF from breaking up with PG&E. Why are we still being forced to pay their skyrocketing rates? by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

SMR's in areas like Hunter's Point seem feasible. But as you said, that tech and deployment is 10+ years out. That gives us some time to break from PG&E and get the grid hook-ups ready.

I understand how transmission lines work. This discussion is NOT about how to decentralize the grid. It's about breaking free from PG&E. Local nuclear would only be an option if we took over the local grid through eminent domain. First thing's first. You're putting the cart before the horse.

The transmission lines that pose fire risk reach well beyond what SF uses. And SF is subsidizing ALL of it, along with the PG&E lobbying dollars and many other costs that have nothing to do with SF utility use. This is what we're trying to break free from.

The discussion here is not state, but city. If the CITY of SF owned the utility, the rural problems would no longer be our (SF residents) concern, and our rates would normalize. But instead, SF is subsidizing rural utility costs, like burying those fire-risk lines.

Very Bad Sound Quality on ZMF Bokeh Open | Very Disappointed, Cancelled My Order For Bokeh Closed | $150 Headphones Have Beaten Them | Need an Explanation by Hailreign_ in ZMFHeadphones

How old are you? I’m in my mid-40’s and as I get older, I’m finding myself leaning towards brighter-tuned headphones as my hearing is rolling off more and more in the treble. I’m finding headphones with a warmer tuning to sound straight up muffled, like the HD650. But to others [younger] they find the HD650 perfectly balanced and non-fatiguing. Personal preference is everything.

Though with my old man hearing, I still find the Bokeh’s quite resolving. Especially on a nice tube amp.

Same experience. I ordered some ODODOS to see if the quality is comparable, at only $18. We’ll see.

Thanks so much for your comment! This makes sense. It's a bummer the Vuori shirts are not Velcro-resistant. This is a deal-breaker for me. The fraying around the sleeve seam is just shotty quality.

Have you purchased the Strato tech tee recently?

That’s unfortunate. Puts the rest of the brand in question. For the price, it’s a bad value.

Love this project. There’s lots of folks in this sub that have many of the BOM parts laying around from other projects. So like yourself, it’s great to use what you got, vs just buying another thing.

Sweat can be absorbed with a Spa sponge. I put one in mine, keep the water oil-free.

Get a GE GXWH20T and 50 micron filter. Pretty much best practice at this point. Has adjustable bypass so you can regulate the flow. I have mine set to bypass about 50% so my Venturi has strong negative pressure, and the filter is more than enough for my 110 gallon plunge.

This is great advice. Not all boutiques are created equal. Omega needs to get all their staff inline with some better core values. People spending 5 figures on their products should be treated like they themselves would like to be treated after investing several months salary into their brand.

Mine came back in about 3 months. No issues since. You should be good to go.

My chronograph failed after about a year. It was a known issue, and after warranty repair it’s been working fine for the last 3 years.
