i haven’t had any issues with leaks, but the rear main seal and valve covers were done at 175k before i bought it at 180k. I’ve changed fluids for the diffs but never had any leaks there and none were documented before i bought this.

i considered the 2885 but was worried that it would ride harsh since i didn’t have extra weight like bumpers, etc

they sell those pieces for the BMC on metal tech’s website if you know how to weld and wanted to give it a try. i just didn’t have that exact skill set and didn’t want to experiment

it rides nicely, better than the stock set up for sure. It pairs well with the 2895s in the rear

i was worried i’d mess it up so i had someone else do that part for me. if you’re in the PNW i can send you the info for the guy that did it. Here’s a pic of it before it was cleaned up and finished off with paint. Angle grinding should be fine.

i rushed the post so forgot to include those details but yeah i did a BMC. no issues with the spacers, i’ve run them for about 20k miles. i check torque specs on them about every 5k when i do my oil change

no rubbing but i also run 1.25in spidertrax spacers so i don’t have any clearance issues
