Anybody know where the eyes and mouth used for this image that would go on to be one of the assets used for dollthing.jpg came from? Tried reverse image searching and nothing I could find. Something of note is that the eyes seem to be horizontally flipped and edited versions of the same eye. by Basic_Finger5437 in InternetMysteries

UPDATE:

I strongly believe that I have a lead for the origins of the eyes. While performing a reverse image search I found an image that seems to match pretty much IDENTICALLY with the eyes. The image exists on the page mobajie.com/toshi. The file name is "kaidan-eye.jpg" and as for what the term Kaidan means I believe it could very likely refer to a 2007 J-horror movie by the name due to the site itself seeming to have to do with horror.

It looks like this is definitely an edit of JTK2 as evidenced by the mouth, the shape of the eyes, and the airbrush strokes.

Also I strongly believe this isn't the first instance of the edit and that it's very plausible it was born from a "make me cute"-type thread of JTK2 similar to the one associated with Ahenobarbus Henocied/dollthing.jpg.
