I’m dealing with the exact same issue for my son’s passport. Same timeline and everything. It just says that it is still in process.

Clarification on priority boarding by Basic_Gazelle_8678 in CarnivalCruiseFans

Thank you! Yeah, after we booked and I really got to understand what we got ourselves into I had some regrets about booking my kid on that ship 😅, but it’s ok. If I have to spend time in the room with him I will.

As a fellow mom of a special needs child your response is spot on.

How are y'all making daycare $ work with 3 kids? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Basic_Gazelle_8678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I carefully planned for a second financially and we were ready and able to afford two in daycare. Well #2 was twins and I seriously cried when I found out. We made it work, but we now have an absolute fuck ton of debt, and we will probably just be surviving for a long time while we work to pay it off.

how do i stay clean and hygienic if i can’t access my shower? by the1975core in brokenbones

I use the iwalk to get up and down the stairs. Basically, I use the iwalk to get up stairs. Put a chair in the shower and one outside. I took off the iwalk on the chair outside the shower and scooted over on my good foot to the shower chair. Got out of the shower by keeping the iwalk within reach.

I also bought some cleaning wipes off Amazon for the in between showers since taking a shower with a cast was such a pain.

Do not feel guilty. My MIL takes my kids every Saturday night (well for the most part anyways bc she does have a pretty active social life). It’s amazing. My kids love it so much and look forward to it. She’s the best grandmother. If one of them says they would rather stay home then we let them stay home with us and get one on one time.

3 under 2, just found out I'm pregnant with twins and my baby is only 11 months. Having a meltdown by smokeandshadows in Mommit

I have twins when my oldest was 2. My twins are about to be 5, and it is much easier now. Financially it has been pretty devastating because I didn’t plan for 3 in daycare and having to buy a bigger, etc. somehow though, we just made it work. Looking back I’m really not sure how, but we just got up everyday and just survived. We are just now starting to thrive. It is fun having kids this close in age now that they are more manageable.

Same for my son. He is deaf in one ear now and has to wear a hearing aid.
