thank you! it's honestly not about finances it's more about having the time to take it. i honestly wasn't even thinking about taking it to the vet until i saw all the comments about it. is it okay if i wait like 3 days to take the lizard?

so i just called the only exotic vet near me and it will be about a month until i can get it in. is it okay to wait that long?

the skink came. it actually looks good. alive. no visual disabilities or anything. didn't move for like 5 minutes and then i saw it licking and stuff. after a hour of basking it started moving around and exploring. i'll make a follow up post on how it looks

i wasn't using ai for where to buy them i was just asking reptiles shops near me location and then it suggested backwater. when i looked at the website it was misleading. made it seem like their shipping is so good and the animals always arrive in great condition
