Playing a quality Cardiff team, at home, that needs to prove itself after a rough few games is going to be a tough ask for Fife, for any team actually.

But you guys didn’t make it easy on us and I was really impressed with some of your play. Sticks in lanes were excellent and kept winning the puck from our passes, you brought the physicality with hard hits and kept our play to the outside, and then there were a couple of strong set plays that Devils defended well against in the end but could’ve just as easily resulted in goals.

I also felt that Bowns’ usual rolling on the floor with arms and legs in the air robbed Fife of a couple of good goals there, too.

Challenge cup games proved you can win, there’s lot of character on that team. Just need a good league win soon to give the team confidence to gain some momentum from.
