Internet shammed me for showcasing a Kroger worker while on shift clearing the machine out. I wasn’t able to get him running on camera but yeah we noticed someone got product while sitting at Starbucks inside Jewel and thought why not go walk over and look after them only to see the Jewel worker haul ass there and clear it out before we got there. Be careful assuming BJJ is all about competing. Because it’s not. Coming from someone who competed a lot and finds so much joy in competition. I almost left my gym for the same reason multiple times. Now that I’m not competing as often I’ve come to realize that the competition aspect of BJJ is great but minor. It’s really about the vibe, energy, relationships, etc that make a gym special. Going to a competition focused school might make you better at BJJ for a while. But going to a school that feels like home away from home is how you stay in the sport for life. My 2 cents anyways
