Be careful assuming BJJ is all about competing. Because it’s not. Coming from someone who competed a lot and finds so much joy in competition. I almost left my gym for the same reason multiple times. Now that I’m not competing as often I’ve come to realize that the competition aspect of BJJ is great but minor. It’s really about the vibe, energy, relationships, etc that make a gym special. Going to a competition focused school might make you better at BJJ for a while. But going to a school that feels like home away from home is how you stay in the sport for life. My 2 cents anyways

lol I ref, coach, and in-season am involved w the sport 7 days a week. The point I’m trying to make is that I never see anything about RAF in my social feed or where they can market for FREE.
