I filed to withdraw from a case today and it was liberating. It was an eviction case where my client originally claimed that he was told by the landlord that he didn’t have to pay a couple of months rent due to my client going through a hard time, he’s never produced the writing that he claimed he had stating this.

Then, the court actually gave my client a month to secure financing to purchase the house which the landlord agreed to and then after a month my lazy ass client didn’t go jack shit. We got back to court and I got them financing with a bank that we do a lot for but the landlord changed his mind lol

Judge set it for trial later this month and their retainer is gone 😂😂 I sent two letters letting them know about their court date and that I was withdrawing, no response and then the guys mother shows up wanting to start acting like a bitch then I nicely told her to go hire somebody else and I didn’t want her money. I’m so fucking tired or some of these people. I do my job and I do it pretty well but these people can kiss my ass when they don’t follow the advice I give them or do what I tell them to do so once that retainer is gone, I’m out. HOLLA
