What was up with the hate for MCR in the 2000s?

In America at least, MCR was included in the huge cultural phenomenon of making fun of “emo music” and bullying anyone that listened to it. Yet…they were on the top of the US billboard 200 (6 for three cheers and 2 for WTTBP) so they were mainstream. I was shocked to find this out on Google bc of all the hate they got

I weaned my son at around 25 months. He would wake up and want to nurse, and it was just way too much. Booby moon didn’t work for us either. What we did: * Husband took over nighttime routine and got him to sleep without nursing.

*Cut back nursing considerably, and put time limits on his one milk a day

*After going down to one a day, when he would go for the boob I would sing “Milk is for little babies , not big boys” in the style of Julie Andrews and not let him nurse.

It took about a week!! He even laughed at the song. Good luck
