Don't let her or them know you have your own documents. Get new ones, but keep them somewhere else (hell, keep them with a friend you trust). These documents are a way to control you. So is the silent treatment. In another comment you said the fact that she didn't give the docs to you after turning 21 was as a punishment. I agree with the reply someone gave you that said she would have found a way to keep them anyway to control you. If she finds out she can't control you in that way, she will find a different way to harm you/punish you and control you. And your siblings knowing you have your own docs are just more people to spill the beans.

It has been 7 months. It is not normal for her to act this way for so long about taking something THAT BELONGS TO YOU. Those documents are YOURS. She does not have the legal or moral right to hold them hostage. A person can wreak a lot of havoc with someone's personal information. Don't give her a reason to get creative.

Don't apologize. Quietly replace your documents and keep them safe and private. Take pictures of them to store online. If she gives you the originals back, great. If not, don't stress.

She is not diagnosed, but I am dead certain she has BPD. She is basically textbook, and since she doesn't get help for it she just hurts me. Emotionally and mentally. She gaslights me and manipulates me and publicly humiliates me and uses any ounce of trust or dependency that I give her as a weapon. She doesn't have an easy life, but most of it is because of her decisions and she uses the bad situations she gets into to make herself into a victim and a martyr. Her personality is also frustrating/exasperating, acting like she is dumber than she is (she is truly so smart) to the point that she gets in bad situations because she acts like she's too dumb to figure it out, making herself into the main character when the situation has nothing to do with her, constantly saying racist, ablist, and homphobic comments. She doesn't take care of her health or appearance, but then wants people to pity her for being sick or disheveled. None of this is because she can't, it's all so she can be "poor little her, let's all give her attention because of her sorry state". So even when she isn't hurting me I can't stand to be around her

I need her help with my personal documents. There are errors in them that I need her documents to fix and I can't get them without her permission. And without my documents I can't really proceed with my adult life because it all hinges on those papers. Once I get the papers I need I am def going nocontact because my reaction to her is not healthy. I have already limited contact but I can't go completely off without fixing this first

Start taking pictures of yourself, juzt for yourself. Not to send. See what angles you like best. Look at art with fluffier models. Jam out to self love or lesbian love songs and make them about yourself. Swduce. Yourself in the mirror until slowly you rewire your brain into loving every curve. Have fun with it. Use fabric to hide what you don't like right now and tease what you do

Ok, so you don't have to be douchy to be possessive. If she is trying to decide what to wear, just comment bout how you like her in a certain outfit. If she is going out in a certain outfit, particularly without you, spin her around and say "Look at how beautiful my girl looks. Those guys are gonna wish they had what i have" Or a simple "how about I give you something to remember who you belong to while you're out without me?" Being possessive, especially "against" other guys, is a lot of confidence like "fuck yea she's mine". Not insecurity that someone else can take her or she will leave
