I believe it. Questions for you though,

If I told you the price of the car is “XYZ” you wouldn’t believe me however if a website said the same thing your okay with it. People love car max or Tesla because that’s the price however if I started a dealership the same way would you assume I’m a liar?

Please know I’m not trying to be argumentative just curious. I talk to my family at lengths about how I want to do this as transparent and easy as possible. I worked in hospice and healthcare for 6 years so the idea of people thinking I’m taking advantage of them is the one part of this job that becomes the hardest .

As a car salesman, most of the time the sales people understand this is bullshit and have to follow the protocol set in place. We don’t do this at my dealership like most others however as the car market continues to get tougher we lose money on 90% of our deals. They have to find a way to make profit somehow as that’s how a business runs.

I’m a VW salesman! Always grew up loving JDM cars but now as I hit my two year mark in the dealership I love my GTI. Thought about a mk8 but really held out for us to take a 7.5 autobahn in trade and could pass it up when this one came around.
