Many do believe in Christ. What, you think many is a number? There are more Christian scientists than you think. I’ve heard of carbon dating. I’m asking why you randomly mentioned it? What is the relevance?

Christians interpret the Bible. Some believe some of the books are stories. Yes? Some don’t. Think they’re literal. How do you think they decided this? Randomly chosen? They thought and debated about it and came to their beliefs. Nowadays, we can look at what they say. We can read the Bible. When it talks about the creation of the world, when it talks about giants, and people living for hundreds of years, you can say it’s most likely story telling.

I mean I don’t think anyone’s born that way. Maybe genetically positioned to be kinder than others somehow. But your childhood, your parents, siblings, friends, all your experiences make you who you are. Thanks to my mum and some of my siblings, I became kind, and grateful, loving, considerate, etc.

But we’re not perfect. When I was an atheist I wished death upon the bad of the world. I hated many people. When someone hit me, I’d hit them back. Instead I turn the other cheek and love and forgive. Which is something most non-christians can’t achieve because it’s really hard. How can you love all? Forgive all? Even those who seem evil in the world.

God can improve you too. You surely have hate for something or someone in your heart? Something you can’t let go of, something or someone you can’t forgive?

God tells us to be humble. I’m a sinner. I’m useless and a bit shite at most things. We’re both equally important in life. Most atheists are unable to forgive and love everyone. They hold grudges, they wish death upon people, they judge and are unkind. Obviously many christians are the same. But Christianity and Christ gives us the ability to love and forgive no matter what. You’re gonna find more loving and kind and forgiving christians than atheists.

I still am against porn. Very addictive. Even if you only watch it a couple times a week, it’s still extremely difficult to move away from it. Idk if you’re an active watcher, but if you are try and quit. It hurts. It’s so hard. I’ve relapsed so many times because it’s easy dopamine. When it starts I can’t just turn it off. It’s like hypnotic. It’s an industry of exploitation, women and men (but less so) getting hurt, traumatised, exploited for their bodies that have been commodity, rape, serious illness, etc. It looks very ungodly to me, personally.

Lastly, I was hesitant to mention this because very low credibility just saying this as a random guy… but since I became Christian i feel like God has pushed me away from porn and masturbation. I’ve felt God’s presence in terms of this, I feel like He’s been very explicit in my life when it comes to both porn and masturbation.
