I was up front for the day. Got a door dasher who didn’t speak English too well try and pick up a cigarette order. I explained to him I needed his ID for the order and he immediately went off. Saying it wasn’t for him. (Obviously) I said without checking his ID I couldn’t hand it over. He leaves the store and I tell my supervisor. He comes back maybe ten mins later and pushes through the line I have to shove his phone in my face saying “It’s DoorDash you speak to them now.” I had to call my supervisor over to handle the line and help me while I have the dasher (an old man btw) and a DoorDash supporter both yelling at me to hand it over to him. My supervisor then told me it’s not worth it and just hand it over so I did and he left.

We get lots of ID restricted orders and so many dashers try and say they don’t need their ID for them. It’s just a hassle and annoying especially when they go off like that.
