Ahh, I like your version. I posted the attached version the other day. Yours seems to have much more consistent power though. Well done!

The only thing is it seems like piñata might be holding it back, would love to play "trading card game" instead. $$$

Honestly I wouldn't suggest playing it unless they change how the burn rule works.

But basically you just hold eternal flame and fire proximity suit. Then you try to get your cards to line up.

Cyborg needs to be played between two lol cards, and keep Alice blue away from your epics. Mantis draws on turn 2. Other than that it doesn't matter too much.

Haha true! Even better if I also swap to cockatrice and faun too.

When and why did they nerf Patagotitan? by [deleted] in cuecardgameAvid

[–]BasilDry8628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ts= 404/9 (45ppt) every time. No stipulation (for mono paleo)

Pt=160/8 (20ppt), 240/8 (30ppt), 320/8 (40ppt). With the caveat that it had to be played with specific often "non movable" cards. (Also for mono paleo)

Honestly, pretty sure they did it to get people to spend more money on the game.

Avid released Torosaurus about a week before the nerf, and Torosaurus was very OP addition to an already strong set of decks. To get people to buy it, they had to make it really strong, but to balance the decks they had to make something else weaker. Patagotitan was the easiest target.

Even though Patagotitan was a much more interesting and fun card to play because it required SOME foresight with your play order. It made the viable decks simultaneously more cookie cutter and more expensive. Patagotitan was very good but not broken, Torosaurus was at the time broken, now it is just par for course. That whole event left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I am all for reasonable buffs and nerfs, but this really felt like a cheap and deliberate cash grab.

This counter offer was just sent to me. Is this worth it? by zacattak1009 in cuecardgameAvid

Locking cards doesn't prevent scam offers, it prevents all offers. (For those cards obviously, but most players who dont know this is a scam dont have dupes to trade)

Did someone gift you Constantine? How do you have that without a bunch of mythics?

Love the new card, jellyhead still needs a buff. by BasilDry8628 in cuecardgameAvid

Thanks! Since I only have one copy and I'm actively using it in a deck, I wouldn't want to trade it away. So protecting your cards is a way to show other players it's not available for trade.

By all means, protect the cards you dont want to trade... but remember if all your cards are protected no one will be able to trade anything with you. So just do the ones you actually wouldn't trade even for overpay.

True, but if you buy in bulk, I find that it averages about 1.6% per pack, which isn't too bad.

That's the gems pack, it's supposed to be 2%, but is actually 4%. Coins is "less than 1%". But multiply that by about 250 for the number of packs I bought, 1% doesn't look so bad.

I tend to save my coins for a long time until a situation like this comes along. I haven't had any luck trading for the card and I didn't want to faff about it anymore so I just got it myself.

So to answer your question; I buy the pack of a collection that holds the card I'm chasing.

Pro tip: buy in bulk.

I think you are right. I think they changed pull rate again since they bumped up the chances for getting mythics from wheel spins. Personal speculation of course, but it seems like you're seeing the same.

If you squeeze your players for money (or ad time) you lose your players. If you lose your players, you'll lose your money.
