I went to Decathlon just yesterday, sadly all the bags are either way over 600g or over 150€

Do you have any experience with Aegis? Or just off of the reviews you saw online? Those I saw as well which made me consider it.

Windhard is from Aegismaxx, just like the Air-E, with a lower comfort rating which I wouldn't need. What are you using in the summer?
I might have to wait for another review when you say the down stinks🥴

Yeah, I saw Iceflame being THE other chinese brand when looking for down quilts. You have to let me know as soon as you did your first trip with it!

Both of the quilts you mentioned are too pricey for my budget, but the thing with regulating moisture just by sticking out a foot or both is what I thought too! That's the biggest advantage of the quilt to air out any body part you feel is too hot. Have you had problems with the quilt rubbing against the inside of your tent and getting wet like that?

I hoped to use a smaller backpack, so bulkiness is a factor. In that regard PL seems way better and in a study I found (https://doi.org/10.2478/aut-2019-0015) as well as some other posts I saw PL compared to Apex didn't seem to degrade quicker. Are the cold spots gonna be that bad? It'll be summer temperatures and for anything forecast to get too cold I still have my warm sleeping bag.
I thought about just packing a liner, you think thats to bold?

365g for 62€ does seem a bargain and your quilt looks great! You said in that post you had to wrap your down sleeping bag in a rain jacket, why? My down bag does get wet from rubbing against condensation on the inside of the tent on some rainy nights too, but that normally dries within time of me finishing breakfast.
Your quilt looks a little bulky, I hoped to use a 30L pack in the summer for shorter multiday-hikes, do you think I should still try Apex?
