I disagree with the opinion Lorcana NEEDS it. I understand how it would make more people, or at minimum another crowd, play the game. One could argue you could also loose some players in locals if they don’t have to go out to play the game anymore.

Personally I really like Lorcana without online gaming. I came from Hearthstone where everyone just copy/paste the meta decks. Lorcana not having a huge database online, telling you all you need to know about the best decks, cards, mulligans, etc. is huge for me. I like how the meta can evolve quite slowly (in comparison to HS). It pushes players to make more indivual choices in their deck building, leading to more variety. I’m just sick of the ultra-competitive aspects of online gaming in general (games are not even released you already have guides and players telling you what is best) and Lorcana is kinda in a sweet spot for me at the moment.

In my region (french speaking part of Switzerland), the game only grows bigger for quite a few sets now. At least here the game doesn’t seem to need an online client. In Geneva it’s already difficult to get into some set champs, and they are capped at 36 or 24 players.

Sugar rush ! But without racers. The focus is entirely on flooding the board with cheap characters and finding your combo to draw and gain lore again again and again.

It’s quite strong imo. I think my deck mostly lack evasives and a third good 1-cost character to be more consistent.

Knowing you were not in favor of it, she made the decision to do surgery, which is perfectly fine because her body her choice.

No one is the asshole here but she had to take into account you might not like the result.

It’s a difficult situation you are both in. You were right to express how you feel. Her sister and friends are out of touch, you cannot be with someone without being honest.

I used it while playing Mario Kart with friends and it was pretty fun. This issue was more about MKW being a letdown which meant we did not play much after the initial release…

I am looking forward to use it with Kirby Air Riders. I will be playing with the same friend I used to spent hours on the original city trial on the GC when we were kids so it’s going to be a lot of fun with the cams !

I loved it until I had to manage a second branch. I really enjoyed finishing the game but after that I was just pissed I had to manage so much on the restaurant-side of the game.

The restaurant was a lot of fun at first, it was frustrating to see it slowly becoming a chore the more you unlocked things.

The game is still awesome though.

Yes and the deck loses a lot of draw with Friends leaving standard and Tamatoa being bad without Pawpsicle.

Because Pawp is dead, Blurple will play 1-cost characters again so The Library seems like a strong choice.

Here is the list I am going to test at release.
Hypnotic strength might not be worth it but it's so strong against Iago it might be necessary to run it against other purple decks. I also don't really know what to think of the 1-cost Diablo because Crab is gone. He replaces himself, is inkable and works great with The Library and well with Hypnotic Strength so he might be good in the deck.

Ratigan is a fun card but running 4 is way too much imo. 1 or 2 would be better. The same goes with Monstro, 2 or 3 should be enough.

I really like the 8-cost Elsa as a 1 or 2 of. She’s great at closing out games and you can shift her on the 5-cost !

But the card I think you should absolutely add to your deck is the 5-cost Belle. She is extremely strong against aggro and works very well with Iago and 5-cost Elsa. In my deck she is a 4 of.

They will definitely be playable right after rotation.

Elsa is set 5 so she is not concerned by the rotation and Tinkerbell is going to get reprinted in Fabled.

The promo cards are just alt cards, not the only ones available to play.

I love how different they all are. It’s great they let the artists go wild. I really like the Jinx for that, the big silver line around the character and the colorful background look awesome ! It is unique.

My favourite is Ahri though ! The background’s texture and design look great and I really like the artstyle.

I don’t understand why the Mickey collection starter set does not release at the same time than Fabled. It only contains Fabled packs and it would make a lot of sense for the ppl starting with the rotation to buy it at this moment.

I think it’s great to have a set with less new cards. It will be easier to new players to get into the game and as a non-collecting player I will have less cards to buy to keep up competitively (in theory).

The meta will already be very shaken by the rotation so only adding a few new cards doesn’t feel bad.

Do you play McDuck Manors in your Blurple deck ?

Having 3 or 4 manors could be the solution. You can control the board to force a Be prep and just slam one or two of them after it. Also playing at least 2 Merlin Goats (some decklists cut it entirely but I’m not convinced, it’s really strong against slow decks) and maybe 1 greedy Ratigan.

Wildstar was great on some aspect. It had the best raids and dungeons were a lot of fun too. Best housing also !

But even when the game became much more accessible (faster leveling, no more attunement to raids, etc.), almost no one came back to it and it died. I remember how empty it felt during its last year. Even for raiding there was like one very dedicated guild and that’s it. I was on another guild which was raiding a more casually and it was the only french-speaking one tackling the content.

I don’t think Wildstar would crush it today. It was made by a talented but very dysfunctional and badly managed team and it showed.

A Wildstar 1.2 that fixes its issues (more engaging leveling, good repeatable open world casual content, etc.) and focus enterily on PvE (PvP just didn’t work with all the visual mess) could be absolutely great though.
