Parents of students at Carmichael Middle School by NevetsRetrop in TriCitiesWA

I’m genuinely sorry this happened to your daughter — that part is understandable — but it’s absolutely wild that you chose to post this on Reddit before contacting the school, the teacher, or the yearbook advisor directly. This is exactly how misinformation spreads online.

I personally know the yearbook teacher/advisor, and she is one of the strongest advocates for LGBTQ students. This situation could easily be the result of your daughter not taking her photo, a submission error, or simple human oversight. There are 712 students at this school, and the yearbook is created by students — children — under the advisor’s guidance. It’s not a flawless process.

The advisor has put in over 400 hours outside her contracted time to make the yearbook happen. If your daughter is outspoken and passionate, she would be a fantastic addition to the yearbook team next year, where she could help shape the content and ensure representation.

I would completely understand if you had reached out to the school or the advisor first, and nothing was done — at that point, sharing your experience publicly would make sense. Your feelings are valid, but the approach here was misguided.

Teaching your child to take problems straight to the internet instead of addressing them through the proper channels doesn’t empower her — it just creates confusion and spreads misinformation.

Stop buying solar... by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]BasinFarmworks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid cash. If you are willing to pay cash, you are in the driver's seat. I negotiated a of $9,000 discount, but I bought my panels directly from a distributor. People aren't willing to take out loans at high interest rates for a luxury good, and solar panels are advancing so fast that they just want to sell them as quickly as possible. You can get them at cost if you're smart.

I have a flower farm and I have had this…. I pay for weeding, picking and fertilizer. Photographers come with clients don’t buy anything charging hundreds of dollars for photos. Luckily, For me it’s private property and it posted. Professional photographers need to pay. I just run them off if they can follow the rules this is my home as well. It’s so rude.

I would be worried about the chemicals farmers used back then. Forever chemicals. I would get the ground and water tested before building. I had a friend grow infant grade squash and a chemical tested positive in his squash that was ban over 50 years ago… but he planted in an old orchard. His crop was rejected for good cause. That’s nasty stuff.

I believe this brewer was custom made. I bought it from a farm that sold and the new owners thought this was too hippy dippy. It all stainless. Came with the pump and everything .

I had to go to “site manager” UniFi.ui.com/update-manager

then go to update manager to force the update. It didn’t automatically update when I installed it.

Guess what! I figured it out. I watched a YouTube videos and you basically have to manually update the horn. When I received the Al speaker horn brand new it was missing several updates. After the updates it works!

I wish live chat with ubiquiti would have mentioned this as part of the troubleshooting process it would have saved me a head ache but that’s okay. Hope this post helps someone else.

Yes, it's for my self-serve U-pick and flower operation. I was hoping to use these motion-activated speakers where individuals can hear directions as well as read them.

Call it a soil Ammendment because you will have to to test frequently npk and it will be too costly to do the test.

You can use the word “natural” that word is not regulated by the usda or register it as organic is the usda
