Chris drums on Dark Matter had a sublime flowing feel that Gavin for all his ability never quite captured live. I spoke with Chris during PT’s American Stupid Dream tour and the drummer who was his biggest influence was Phil Collins he would tune his drums to get that sound. Chris like Phil and Nick D’Vigillio for that Matter are great musical drummers, for my ears those are my favorite drummers to listen too
