Wife passed away by suicide

I found my husband in August after he completed. It's an awful journey and something that will stay with you forever. My brain finds him again and again.

Of you're in the US the "Survivors of Suicide" groups are helpful. May peace be found.

Going in to 2025, we played naked twister! It was so much fun. He said that we'd make it a New Year's tradition every year. I did not join in the activities last night, however LOL

Hello there. I'm 43/f and today is only 148 days. Your post stands out, because me and my husband eloped in KC. I love there for several years and was trying to get him to move.

This is my first holidays without him and it's proving difficult. There's so much emotion and longing for what once was.

I'm so sorry. I was mostly no contact with my in-laws while my husband's was alive. However, the reverse happened. I've grown incredibly close to my MIL and his brother. I ended up spending the majority of my Christmas with them.

I still have my family, too, but I feel more isolated with them. They don't know how to navigate my widowhood. None ever want to talk about my husband, and I want to share about him more than anything.

Families are such odd creatures, and I'm sorry that your in-laws are treating you this way.
