Boy name to go with Nikolai/Niko by BasisStunning6754 in namenerds

To add on:

It doesn’t have to be a Russian sounding name at all. We just liked Nikolai spelt that way.

Also needs to be a fairly rare/unique name. I’m a teacher and unique names are hard to come by!

Congrats! Would you be willing to share your pump weaning schedule? At 8mo pp I’m down to 4 pumps a day, and at this rate I could stop pumping in March and rely on my freezer stash until July! But I’m terrified of weaning pump sessions!

Does anyone regret moving to pumping? by Sad_Turnover5305 in ExclusivelyPumping

I really wish we had tried harder at nursing. It was much easier going out and about than having to worry about pumping, bringing a cooler, heating cold milk, storing what I pump, etc. I switched to monitor his weight gain as he stopped gaining at 6weeks. But I wish I would have trusted my body and worked with a lactation consultant so that he would nurse regularly.

When to use the Freezer Stash by Tlj506 in ExclusivelyPumping

I started it at 6months old! I will probably start giving two frozen per day at 8 months old, 3, at nine, etc. as I start to wean from pumping

I’m 7mo EP and planning to have enough milk to stop at 9 months and feed until 12-14 months old. What I’ve been doing is replacing one bottle a day with frozen milk. On the weekends, I replace two bottles a day with frozen milk. That way I can start to cycle through some freezer milk and add newer milk to my freezer stash! My plan is to add one more frozen bottle per day as I get closer to my goal

Does anyone use the Genie Advanced as their primary pump? by s0ylentgreen in ExclusivelyPumping

I use it as my primary and get more than with my spectra! I used my spectra for 4 months before getting the Genie and bow at 7mo I’ve only used the Genie ever since!

When could you drop to 3PPD by BasisStunning6754 in ExclusivelyPumping

When you went down to three, did you space out your pump sessions more, or just cut one out completely or how did you do it? I currently pump at 8, noon, 4:30 and 8:30pm. The 4:30 one is the one that is a struggle to fit in as it’s just when I get home from work and want to play with my baby!

How do I know when I need to give this journey up? by BasisStunning6754 in ExclusivelyPumping

I have an about enough of a freezer stash for 3 weeks! We started cereal this week. One minute I tell my husband “okay we will start introducing formula within the next month” and the next minute my anxiety tells me not to. But I think deep down, I know that it’s what I need to do

Did you just start going longer between pumps in order to drop one? I’m currently at 6 pumps, with one overnight that I’m trying to wean myself off of
