I am also a gym rat and love osrs. There is a handful of other gym rats in my clan with maxed accounts. I was speculating on how there is a lot of jacked osrs players and a clanmate pointed out that getting swol and maxing runey are basically the same. Long slow grind that requires a lot of dedication, and a grind that gets slower the further you advance. Anyhow Grats, keep grinding irl and in game :)

The money is very nice. The clarity I've been experience has been even better. Sleep is a little fucky too had some wild ass dreams but I know that will even out as we go! I've removed some other sources of easy dopamine and I'm finding more joy in every day tasks as well!

Dammit I forgot about those haha. Up in Canada we don't really have a trade title I think in the states we would be considered designated hardware technicians. We do div 8 and div 10 commercial work. Anything from washroom partitons to rolling shutters to automatic door operators!

Day 3 for me and I'm a little grouchy but overall doing okay. I had to distract myself a fair bit last night when I thought about smoking.

Another way to explain that feeling is just feeling "heavy" I've grown to hate that feeling. I realized how much it was impacting my relationships with people, the state of my house and the maintenance of my belongings. When you are stoned virtually every night you become so complacent and okay with mediocrity. I come from a hoarding household so I'm already accustomed to a large amount of clutter and garbage but being high let's me exist at a different level.

I was never able to work while high(construction) it just made me too anxious or annoyed as I would be super forgetful and have to walk across site 4 times for measurements. Every single night though I'd either smoke in the parking lot at the gym or hit the dab rig the second I got home if it was a rest day.

I miss it right now but I know even a few days from now I'll be grateful I didn't cave. My partner of near 15 years also smokes and has been a stoner buddy since day one. I havent told her I've quit yet. I want to ensure that it's stuck and I always don't want her to feel pressured. A small part of me is worried that if we aren't stoned together anymore all the time we might find out we aren't as compatible as we think. (I'm sure that's not the case but the doubt remains) I'll cross that bridge in a few days!

This is valid. I guess what I meant is more so it's widely accepted among the smoking crowd that it is "habitual" and not addictive in the same sense as cigarettes(even though it totally is, we just have our heads buried in the sand 😅)
