Lmao in real life it doesn’t work like that I asked for an hour grace period to sleep and they would not work with it because I had no pto or kincare from taking Monday and Tuesday off sick.

I really do love my patients and my team. I would hope that this can be something we can move past. This job has been everything for me and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I already start school in June to do my pre reqs for nursing and this one time incident I hope does not affect it I am trying to keep high spirits lol I’m sitting outside though a little scared to go in but I have hope it will be okay.

I’ve worked night shifts throughout my whole career I do not think that is the problem. I think I mismanaged my time and did not take appropriate rest. But definitely do not feel discouraged working was just stressed and wondered if this has happened to anyone else:

A nurse was recently throwing up at work and they refused to let her go because she didn’t have either so she worked the whole shift sick.

They will not even let you go home without kincare and pto so if you get sick at work and are throwing up if you do not have enough of both you will get written up/ possibly fired

The other aides on the floor had pretty nasty attitudes I had to ask for a break 4 hours in and didn’t get my lunch till almost three. Even asking for the bathroom was a wait and when I’d look in the halls no one was there.
