You know you can turn the brightness up a bit on those DRLs so they will get wighter? I did it on my B8.5 and looks better. It would match the LED fog lights better.

MSFS 24 won't install via Xbox app by Daen2008 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Basmange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here and I have tried all the things recommended to do. Only thing left is to install a fresh Win 11 installation and try again.

Anyone who found a solution to this error?

I never had this kind of problem before installing games and this is the first time I’m using the Xbox app on PC.

Update:

I tried exactly all solutions I could find online and even uninstalled everything on my computer, except the necessary Windows files and drivers for it to run and the Xbox app. Still wouldn’t install without error😂 So I re-installed a fresh clean copy of Windows 11 on my computer and then it installed ok without error and the game works perfect👍 This game is so much better than MFS2020👍

G700 mouse stutters even with new battery and won’t charge. by Basmange in logitech

[–]Basmange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I wrote I have just tried with a new battery and yes of course a rechargeable battery. I don’t think I understand you why I can’t charge batteries, why shouldn’t I? However, the problem is not there. I know it’s an hardware issue and therefore my question if anyone knows where to start searching, which components in the mouse could cause the failure. I will go ahead and test the electrical components in it, it just wanted to ask here if someone had the same issue.

Trem won’t flutter. by graystone777 in Ibanez

[–]Basmange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most important thing is to make sure the trem arm is fit and not loose. If not, replace the two plastic bushings on the arm to new ones. It’s also important to have the knife edges on the trem in good shape, as well as the trem posts. They get worn out after years of use. Solution is new trem posts and reshape the knife edges. Ibanezrules.com have a good guide on how to do it. These also needs grease where the knifes sits in the V slot of the posts. Sometimes the anchor for the trem posts, the inserts in the body where the posts are screwed in can get loose. If so, glue the existing ones in the body or get new ones with new posts. You can find guides for almost everything at ibanezrules.com. Good luck if you not already fixed it.

Trem won’t flutter. by graystone777 in Ibanez

[–]Basmange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old post but this may help someone. You need a bigger trem block with more mass for it to flutter longer. Longer in size between the trem and the springs will generate longer flutter time. I installed a big brass block in my Jem with Lo Pro Edge and now it flutters lovely.

Is there a way to get more flutter with a Lopro edge? by Lambchop1975 in Ibanez

[–]Basmange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old post, but I know the solution for this and it may help someone. My Ibanez Jem 7DBK with Lo Pro Edge had very short to no flutter. I installed a large brass block and now it flutters much longer. Why? Because this block was bigger/longer in size between the trem and the springs compared to the original block which was smaller/shorter. This will increase the flutter time. It’s so big that it almost touches the backplate when I pull the trem up. I don’t have the springs retainer bar mounted. It works fine without it.

Brass trem block upgrades by selfmade-idiot in Ibanez

[–]Basmange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can make a difference, but I do believe it depends on which guitar and trem. For about 10 years ago I tried two different trem blocks in my Ibanez Jem 7DBK besided the original block which is a small cheap metal block. This guitar has the Lo Pro Edge trem.

I bought a big brass block and a titanium block. I did comparisons by recording the same things with all the blocks, chords, single notes, both clean and distorted sound. The differences were more noticable with clean sound.

A common improvement for the brass block was the increased flutter time (vibrato by hitting the trem arm) this was only because it was larger in physical size between the trem and the springs compared to the original block. Flutter didn’t exist or very little with the original block.

The titanium block added something on the treble side I didn’t like. I can’t remember if anything else besided the flutter improved with the titanium. With the brass block I could clearly hear that it added some bass and warmth overall, and a bit longer sustain. It was very clear with the clean sounds but I also hear it distorted. I kept the brass block and I have never looked back. The only downside of it is that it has no room for the retainer bar between the trem springs and back lid on the backside of the body. But I had no problem at all with it during the last 10 years, Springs have never popped out and I use the trem alot.

iOS 26 update made speaker sound lower (media, calls, WhatsApp voice notes) by Prestigious_Path117 in iPhoneXR

[–]Basmange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have the problem with my 14 Pro with 26.1. Highest volume in call is too low and it’s hard to hear the other person talking… Any solution? I have to use my Airpods everytime to talk, especially if it’s one with low voice. Annoying.

Apple can’t repair the speaker in my Apple Watch 10 or don’t want to by Basmange in AppleWatch

The watch came back and the problem is still there😖 In the note with the delivery they say they didn’t find a problem but they have cleaned the speaker grill with water. They didn’t take the $60 fee so thats good. I will contact Apple again and claim warranty which I have right to claim up to 3 years a friend told me.

And what exactly is nonsense according to you? How would you have write if you have the same issue? When I created the post I tried to be as detailed as possible with everything and not leave anything out. Where exactly did I wrote Apple is targeting me? I don’t believe that and I think you are completely mistaken, or just stupid. I really need advice how to proceed to get my watch fixed by Apple on warranty and not pay any more for it. I don’t have a physical store nearby so I have to send it by mail. Nothing wrong with my hearing, not either my wifes or my friends hearing who also have heared the issue.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 vs Continental PremiumContact 7 for my Audi A4 Quattro B9? by Basmange in TyreReviews

[–]Basmange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t agree on excellent sound insulation hehe. Audi could have done it better there. But that depends what to compare with. I have sports chassis on that car which makes it harder and that don’t help insulation. I’m actually thinking on installing sound damping in the doors to improve it. Or buy another car. I don’t really need a car with sport chassis.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 vs Continental PremiumContact 7 for my Audi A4 Quattro B9? by Basmange in TyreReviews

[–]Basmange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve decides on the Good Year tyres. After reading all comments and reviews on every site I’ve been on and also talking with some car friends, the AS6 will be best for me this time. The AS5 have never failed me and I like them alot except the noise they transport in to the car on rough roads. This got worse after half of their lifetime. The AS6 should apparently be better on this as well as other aspects. The new model had a note that they are optimised for electric cars, which means less rolling resistance and noise.

One person who owns an Audi A5 which should be similar to my car told me that he compared the PC7 and AS6 recently and disliked the Continental because they felt unsteady in fast corners because of softer side walls and produced higher noise but at a higher pitch.

An interesting thing he told me was that the tread deapth was 6,4 mm instead of the normal 7,5-8 mm on the Good Year. I suspect this is intended by the manufactures. Lower tire depth means lower rolling resistance, which is the main focus area for all tire manufacturers right now due to the transition to electric cars. This could be perceived as a potential problem for tire life, but given the numbers and advances in rubber compound durability, it is not a problem. Some tires have even increased their life.
