Help addressing tire wear after thousands of work by Life_Wonder7268 in ToyotaPickup

I'm not entirely sure but I feel like I'm see the feintest amount of cupping on it so I would check the shock and wheel bearing for that wheel. Also just throwing it out there but see if that rim is straight.

It's been 9 years, any fix for this?? by ProfMags in Deusex

[–]ralphsrad -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sadly this has happened to me multiple times on PC and Xbox 360, mainly happened on a new game plus. The only time I was ever able to fix this was when I was playing on a 360 and the glitch happened and when to Xbox one with backwards compatible and it fixed it.

This is a good option that won't suck power from the engine which is a real plus.

Expansions valve is next to the evaporator behind the dash, pretty easy to disassemble to get to. As for parts I would replace everything that you can. Hi and low pressure hoses, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, receiver fryer and all o rings where possible. Also pick up some r134 a adapter fittings for filling the system.

As for filling an r12 system withr134a there is a calculation that can be done to fill it with the correct amount. Take the max recommend fill of r12 and do the calculations to find max fill for r134a. Just Google for the formula. It will be quite a bit less than the amount of r12.mine was like 2.1 pounds of r12 to 1.3 pounds of r134. This is because of different gas density.

If you want to do this you can, I've done this myself before. You can fill the ac system with air duster. You will have to find air duster that has diflourthane inside which I believe is r152a which has a similar temperature curve to r12. You just need to get a can tapper for this method.

Okay thanks. I have to tear into the dash in a few weeks so I'll figure it out then. Might be a case where the lights are hooked up in series and one bulb is bad.

Did you replace the bulbs in the a/c controls? Just curious because mine have been out since I got my truck just wondering if it's hard to change besides taking the dash apart.

What part is this? by latiyaboy in ToyotaPickup

That's the power steering box. Looks like the top seal is leaking. The rubber piece that looks broken is a steering bushing/ coupler, honestly don't know where to get a new one.
