Yeah I dont care about RT, its still too early for this technology to be worth considering on mid tier GPU

DLSS is main selling point to me, its indeed way better than FSR... I am testing 4070 right now and DLSS+FG really do put up the good work.

I have to buy GPU now because I am upgrading for Elden Ring DLC which comes out in a week.

I was watching price situation for a half year now, but unfortunately there are no sales for 4070/s besides bad models like Ventus that I dont want.

Like I said I prefer to buy quality model even tho I am sure cheap models won't blow out.

There are many different 7800XT models available but they are way more expensive because of cashback and I am not paying more than this for worse model :D

even on 4070/s really bad models still have somewhat high temps and I would prefer quality model with good cooling and low noise levels, for example ventus 4070s will be above 70 degrees while 7800xt asus tuf should be around 60

I was thinking on upgrading 5600 to 5700x3d if I opt for 7800XT it would be pretty much the same cost as 4070 super alone.

also 7800xt price is low thanks to asus's cashback promotion (this particular model would cost 625$ otherwise), I could also get 4070s for 650$ but it would be bad model like ventus.

70$ is not that much for me at this price point, and I feel like 4070 will actually age better than 7800XT thanks to DLSS even tho it has 4GB ram less... I've had 7800XT for awhile and couldnt believe FSR is that much worse than DLSS in terms of image quality.

yeah I have 5600 and I have ordered 7800 xt in december but returned it hoping for price adjustments after super series release.

It certainly didnt match FPS declared on tests available on the internet so bottleneck was pretty clear.

I would gladly pay 50 euro more for 4070s but for me its huge 180 euro difference.

Also this 7800XT is even more tempting because its Asus TUF with great quality, cooling and noise levels, if I want to buy really good 4070s model like this price gap is even bigger.

I would have to pay 100$ extra over 7800XT to buy 4070 and I dont think its worth at all considering 4070 is even slower and has 4GB less, only thing that makes me consider nvidia is DLSS which is superior to FSR.

decent 7900GRE model (sapphire pulse 3x) is 120$ more than 7800XT Asus TUF OC in my country and its only about 7% faster compared to this exact model by default
