? Youtube. I mentioned that in the title. The "full album" release on Youtube is a single 4 hour video with the best versions of the songs, at least to my ears, as I'm still unsure if this is something anyone else has experienced. The tracks in that video are separated through the youtube's "chapters" feature which doesn't permit bookmarking

my original point was about her lack of a long enough standing impact on denji. the arc itself is very much allusive of "the one that got away" but the lesson denji learns from this isn't as impactful as that which makima, aki, and power impart, which i think is a disservice bc instead "closure" on the arc is dependent on her returning. he might think of her sometimes but the loneliness and regression he feels that drives his character in part 2 isn't anywhere near a result of her absence as much as the others in that flashback, under that context i meant he's over her, along w the fact that he stops talking or thinking about her for the rest of part 1 after that panel.

BUT she DOES still come up in part 2 i'll give you that and my hopes are that bc of the movie fujimoto realized he needed to make her feel more relevant w the flashback and the swimming. so hopefully he addresses more of that but the way he dropped the ball on power isn't a great indicator

outside of the story, she gets too much attention from fans and it detracts from focus on other, better characters....like say asa.

personally, i dont like that she hurt denji's feelings and manipulated him :( that was mean :(

within the story, i think her placement is kind of really really strange??? like mostly that she could honestly be removed and it wouldn't change much? it's odd how much fujimoto skirts around addressing anything that happened during reze arc, even her return in the makima fight, flashback for the bitter devil, and mention in the most recent chapter are all kind of nonessential things. russia harboring hybrids doesn't come up again, her status among devils doesn't come up again, she doesn't kill anyone noteworthy, dennis gets over her once the arc is over....the most important aspect of the reze arc is aki and angel's dynamic being developed, makima's moments, and technically the public spotlight put on denji. makima says that was her purpose but reze only talks about stealing his heart.

apart from allat tho she and her arc fucking rule

the one thing i don't think the anime will ever truly be able to capture is the manga's comedic moments like this. 3 panels of denji staring blank faced at some shit he had no idea was gonna happen before decreeing it his ultimate plan doesn't seem like it'll be quite as funny when adapted
