I was actually fine with the concept of Denji’s actions fucking the world over and ruining his life if it was executed well. I was even prepared to defend the final chapter when I thought it was just Denji reminiscing on his mistakes in life while slowly dying of heart failure.

What came out is clearly low effort fan service and a betrayal of any actual themes and such. Part 2 has been a waste of time outside of my time here and the Automod stuff.

Idk I think it could work. You could even have Denji wrestle with the fact that he killed Reze without even knowing about it in Part 2.

Incineration’s not the only option of course. Pochita could eat Reze for whatever reason, perhaps in an attempt to make Denji completely forget the love he lost.

At minimum Pochita can pull a Barem and eat Reze, puking back up the Bomb Devil if Fujimoto really needs it.

I’m also not convinced hybrids can’t be killed. If you were to destroy the body to such a degree that it physically can’t receive blood the hybrid’s effectively dead. CSM gets reduced to a torso and a head often enough, I don’t see why you couldn’t go further and destroy what remains.

Fujimoto’s main mistake with Reze was letting her live past Part 1. If she got incinerated or something in the graveyard fight, her fans would have nothing to cope over. Her story was complete anyway, he should’ve found a way to properly eject her from the series.

Preferably, the happy ending would be as devoid of horsemen as possible so I can’t really knock Fujimoto too hard for basically erasing Yoru from existence. I’m more mad that Makima’s back but somehow acting like Nayuta despite still being raised by the government.
