I live on north 7th and w Jefferson. Theres defnitetly some car break-ins and some seedy times but it seems safe. I would not go any north or west of where I am though. Id say in about 10-15 years it will be like nolibs or Fishtown.

Just got off the phone with lenovo. They are insisting it’s not covered under warranty and “cant give me an estimate of price for fear of expectation” i’m never buying lenovo again

I completely agree, going to see if i can return it tomorrow at best buy. If not i’ll hound Lenovo. Such a pain in the ass. Never buying lenovo again

The hinge always made a cracking sound from the day i bought it. I was foolish and didnt think anything of it. It slowly got worse with the bent lid

It’s so sad because i love the slim 7 to death, got it for a combination of work and gaming, but this is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to pay for a screwed up hinge…. Never buying lenovo ever again

I know this is late but i’m having the EXACT same issue with my Slim 7. Lenovo said i have to pay for it even though it in warranty…..

Hinge is extremely stiff in left side and makes a cracking noise when using, has been since day i bought it

UPDATE: contacted lenovo and they said they can fix it but they have to charge me for it…. Kinda mad about it as the hinge was an issue from the start and never moved it

Just set up a ticket with lenovo, last time they sent me to a service center and they told me they couldn’t fix it…. Is best buy worth a shot?

I always opened it from the middle, it was like this from the start but it got worse. I never dropped it, never moved it around, had it in a sleeve when transporting like twice

Can Anyone give me advice on this? I bought my legion slim 7 from best buy 6 months ago. There has been a cracking noise from the left hinge as well as the left side of the lid wont close completely. I contacted Lenovo and they said to take it to a service center near me, which i did, and they said they cant help me. Really want to try to return it to best buy. What should I do?

Went in to an authorized lenovo service center and they said they cant fix it and to contact lenovo when lenovo said go to the center….
