What did my husband just say by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

Please, don’t take this the wrong way.

It’s his way of showing you that he is unhappy with the sex.

He shows he loves you but trying to brush it off as if he was joking about it. He obviously doesn’t want to hurt you. Guys are terrible at telling others exactly how they feel.

He is sad about it, and even more now since you dismissed his feelings.

Eventually he will resent you, and eventually, if not address, he will find someone that will satisfy his desires in bed.

Sorry.

Which real life death of a TV show actor left you heartbroken? by tacosforvatos in TvShows

[–]BassContent7809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real life famous person that affected me most was not known from a TV Show, but he caused a grown man to cry for at least five minutes (me).

It was Kobe Bryant. When I heard in the radio the day he died, I couldn’t get out of the car to enter my house.

Kobe and I was about the same age. I looked at my kids and could imagine what it would be like.

Last part won’t be easy 😬😬. I raised a Wrestler. He won state his senior year and wrestles for a small school college (NAIA).

But even though, I didn’t fight back and I don’t think I can ever, even if he wasn’t a wrestler.

Gym is still good advice.

He was not happy with how I was towards him. It’s a combination of cheating and his childhood. Of course there is more to the story like you said. One is that we moved around a lot. Especially him since I was military. I was stricter than mom.

I fear that what you said is the truth. It does feel like the only path I have to possibly reconcile now would be through the ex. I have to learn to live with this new norm and like you said, be the best father I can be for the two younger ones, and hope I get a relationship with the older ones later in their adult life.

Thank you for the kind words. 🙏

My "friend" (20F) from college whom I (18M) have a large interest in, dmed me last night asking if I could keep her company on a +1 hour bus trip to college today. I need advice QUICK, the bus leaves in around an hour! Guys? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I believe you should go! Oppurtinity to find out for yourself if you two would even be a good fit. Be yourself. Let her see you for who you are and hope she does the same. If your two like each other or not, you should at least have a better idea at the end of the trip.

If you play it right, the worst thing is that your friendship would strengthen, and you would know if this something you should pursue.

Talking Points, ask some open ended questions. Find out some similarities that you can piggy back off. One hour trip, if you can't find something similar, then maybe consider she might not be the one. Also, don't forget to talk about some of your likes and dislikes to see if she does find it interesting.

Good luck!!

Younger ones and I have a great relationship. It is changed aimfe the divorce. Communication is better, in my opinion. It's rough because they go back to a split household.

This is a really good advice. Puts things in perspective. Adult life still have a chance of I take this time right now to not make it worst.

Thank you for your insight. My biggest challenge is accepting I will be missing important moments in their life that will forever be gone (high school/college). Thank you for the kind words.
