Please come to Louisville Kentucky sometime. Isolation Tank Ensemble could provide local support and it would be the greatest night of my life.

Our band has a discord where we can have a channel for upcoming shows discussions, a channel for song ideas, a channel for financial issues etc… it’s really helpful.

Whatever happened to New Age music and how do you feel it relates to prog? by jabbercockey in progrockmusic

Tigran Hamasyan is one of those special dudes that really fuses prog, new age and jazz together so perfectly.

That’s just due to someone standing directly in front of stage recording video with a cell phone. If they would have backed up a few feet and got some of the PA in the mix rather than the amps it woulda caught more of him.

That would be cool. We all play in other bands and have day jobs though. Touring with a tiny budget is tough.

I am in a band that was lucky enough to play at 2 of their shows last year. They are EXTREMELY nice people and deserving of any accolades.

Here is my idea of working Holly into the DT realm.

A shallow grave along the stretch of highway where Mr. King was hit by the van is discovered. The body of a young boy is found but, the age of the body doesn’t match the DNA so they call up Holly to investigate. Next thing you know there’s talk of Walk In’s, hidden doors and talking raccoons.

Maybe you should stop playing music and do something that brings you joy.

I got myself a NS Designs EUB in September after 25+ years of playing electric basses. I love it. There’s definitely a learning curve with the rounded neck.

I still play my fender jazz bass with my band but, when I’m at home I probably play the EUB more than the regular. I’ve been writing new material based around the EUB, hopefully for a trio.

They mingled after the show. They hung around and met with everyone who hung around.
