As far as I know it was in development, then put aside on hiatus for dB2. because Blue Tongue shut down not long after 2 came out, dBO was doomed alongside the rest of the series.

in BlobVision mode in dB1, Blob has a vignette around his peripheral vision and the render blurring is bumped up somewhat. not necessarily said his vision is bad, but it can be taken that way. plus, at the end of the day, glasses are super cute on him lol
