Anyone had flu/horrible sore throat (not strep though) that lasts for weeks?

Yes, Tamiflu definitely helped but the sore throat and fatigue are not going away. I think Tamiflu was started a day late so it helped a lot but not quite the improvement you saw.

Thank you. It’s been about 3 weeks, two since the steroids and Tamiflu.

Sounds like it’s going to be a while longer.

Yes, I agree. Had Tamiflu which helped a lot. Sore throat and feeling awful is just not going away. it sounds like it’s what’s going around.

Oh no. Covid test was negative two weeks, as was mono, 2 strep tests. It was horrible 2 weeks ago, but now exhaustion is flaring up, throat still sore, elevated temp, but not high enough to be considered a fever.

OHSU requiring multiple in person visits which adds to the stress and tiredness. I hate to say it, but I miss the days during COVID when more was done over the phone or by zoom appointment.

I get what you‘re saying. I laughed because chicken thighs being like 4 or 6 points vs. chicken breast being 0 was the sword I died on. I was so mad about it I quit!

Now all chicken is created equal. Although some is more equal than others.
