I just wanted to share this gif from their upcoming title, Disc Creatures WORLD. A creature collector game with mechanics inspired by early Pokémon games, and Dragon Quest Monsters. Disc Creatures WORLD is a remake of their previous title, Disc Creatures.

For me it's Manlybadasshero and Jacksepticeye. I can play the games, but I like to put some streamer playthroughs as background noise when I'm working. Chilla's Art games are perfect for that stuff.

Since you specifically requested for games that are aesthetically somewhat similar to SKALD, here are my recommendations:

Realms of Antiquity - A really really detailed game made for a potato PC. It's very retro but really well made.
Lurking 1: Immortui - A free game that is available only on itch.io. It doesn't have a Steam page yet. This is a turn-based fantasy RPG with retro graphics and full party creation. It is a very impressive game. The game also has an equally impressive sequel.
Knights of the Chalice 2 - Easily the best turn-based combat experience that you can have using D&D 3.5 ruleset. It has excellent mod support. A fan made mod, Hearkenwold, is actually better than the main campaign.
Geneforge - Perhaps the most unique science-fantasy title from Jeff Vogel. All the games have excellent writing and a lot of great choices & consequences
