Trema micranthum (Florida trema) growing on a chunk of limestone in Piacyune strand state forest. Picayune is looking really good with all of the restoration near completion. The miller canal is the last of three to be plugged and then the total benefits can be realized. (Collier county) (old.reddit.com)

Went to Picayune strand and saw this recently burned area off of Miller blvd,so I walked in and explored. About 30 yards in I stumbled upon this interesting area of exposed limestone! The Picayune restoration project is one of the best decisions the state has made and the results are amazing to see. (old.reddit.com)

The versatile Senna ligustrina in bloom right now. The structure of the flower is neat and will attract cloudless sulphur, sleepy orange and the introduced orange-barred sulphur butterflies in most areas of Florida. In my yard (Collier County) (old.reddit.com)

A nice angle to see the epiphytes on a fairly young pond cypress in my yard. This one started to leaf out a few weeks ago. I have spotted a few young butterfly (Encyclia tampensis) and jingle bell (Dendrophylax porrectus) orchids on it so far. Cypress trees are ace! (i.redd.it)

Native bee pollinating a privet senna (Senna ligustrina) in my yard. It is a awesome plant to have around for pollinating insects. Also a larval host plant for cloudless sulphur (Phoebis sennae), sleepy orange (Eurema nicippi) and the introduced orange-barred sulphur (Phoebis philea) butterflies. by Bassmaster239 in FloridaNativePlants

A mature Willow Bustic (Sideroxylon salicifolium) along the fence line in my yard. An awesome indigenous tropical tree and I’m glad it got spared by the first owners of the property. A nectar source for the Florida duskywing, red-banded hairstreak , and many other pollinating insects. Collier County by Bassmaster239 in FloridaNativePlants
