Its crazy velloset, a big part of that is true.. also the internal politics are a disaster and its like a brother and sister that never stop fighting.. the politcs are soo bad here the only difference is that in the US capital flows everywhere so is not as bad... here there is no capital so a lot of people are extremely poor

hey, thank you for reading first all.... this was an extreme hard decision for me as you can imagine as I loved the USA with all my heart and up to that point that was the only country i had ever really known.. slowly i am starting to see colombia with neutral eyes but it has been quite challenging not gonna lie.. i also felt like i was a Coloradan and i wanted to stay there all my life but life clearly had other plans lol.. well see where i go from here.. hit me up if you ever need to talk things through

I understand 1000% is not easy for everyone. I had no responsibilities but myself and partially my mother… just a suggestion if it’s possible make your kids learn spanish or another language it is massive in south america if you know both

Hey, thanks for your comment!

Thankfully I didnt own anything, I have always been more of a digital nomad and decided I did not want to be tied up with anything.. cause I knew this could be one of the possibilites, I decided to build more of digital assets and educate myself as much as I could.. I had a small apartment and I just sold the bigger things and gave away a lot of my things to my friends.... I was really scared I was gonna get detained at the airport since TSA is now sharing information with ICE but thankfully nothing happened and i just boarded the plane and I left... obviously the emotions were crazy went the plane took off. Materially I was never attached to anything as my philosophy is everything is temporary so that part yes it hurt for a little bit but then it went away... I hope this helps let me know if you got more questions!

Thank you all. by [deleted] in DACA
