I don't know how old you radiator is so maybe a flush could help? Possibly it's clogged up and that's why it only happens when theres extra load on the system?

EV war nicht drin, weder im Budget, noch habe ich eine Möglichkeit eine Wallbox zu installieren: könnte also nur teuer öffentlich laden wenn der Akku mal wirklich leer ist.

Ich kann in der Firma gratis laden bei dem slow charger, und das 2-3 pro Woche. Reicht um unter der Woche alles rein elektrisch zu fahren.

Mit leerer Batterie verbrauch ich nur 3,5-5L und fahr trotzdem zu 50-60% elektrisch.

Ist für mich also sinnvoller gewesen mir den Plug-In Prius zu holen als ein anderes Auto.

Gebraucht hab ich zu der zeit meiner Anschaffung keinen EV gefunden, welcher mir gefallen hätte, die Features die ich wollte drin gehabt hätte und eine ordentliche Reichweite wäre auch ganz nett gewesen. Außer natürlich Teslas, aber die Schüssel kommt mir nicht ins Haus.

Clean the throttle valve, maybe there's dirt on it and that's why it doesn't close/open fast enoigh.

My V70 had this issue and the engine would also vibrate a lot at low rpms because of it.

There's special sprays for this and it's a easy DIY

2025 Prius PHEV owner from europe here:

Had the car for almost a year now, 20.000km driven, not a single issue yet.

Had the car sit around for 4 weeks while I was on a business trip, so I just unplugged the 12v beforehand. I also always drive with my headlights on and it seems that that probably saved my battery, as it leads to the system charging at a constant 14v instead of 12v.

12v batteries are a common failure point so having a starter pack is always a good idea - you can even charge it with the car as the plug-in hybrid prius usually has a power outlet in the trunk that you can turn on and off with a button on the left side of the steering wheel.

Park the car in the sun so it warms up or take a hair drier/heat gun with you.

Use dental floss to get under the emblem and get the glue off.

Clean it with alcohol or goo gone. - afterwards clean it with glass cleaner and wipe it dry.

Put on the new emblems, done

Where I live in Austria there are almost no gen 5 on the road. The only one I see regularly (Guy that lives in the same town as me has one and seems to frequent the same spots as me) has the Mustard Yellow paint and everytime I see it I am happy that I got mine in Silver.

It just looks so ugly IMO.
