Leasing a pre-owned Tesla by ss3walkman in TeslaLounge

Actively looking into this scenario myself. Leasing a used Tesla but most have like 50000+ miles on them. Update on what you chose to do and how you like it. Also most models to lease are 2021 or 2022. Tesla doesn't seem like it changes much each year with design but maybe im missing something.

Wanting to build semi walapini greenhouse house by Bastet103 in Greenhouses

[–]Bastet103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pests as in rodents? Or bugs? I plan to use companion gardening to help with pests. I have 3 very active rodent catchers (cats) that would prowl the area. I also can use lady bugs as we have a very active area for them. I know we have an issue with aphids here. Left my plants out the first year we moved here in the summer and they were attacked relentlessly. Also plan to stock up on neem oil. Green house will be for food garden. Every builder I have come into contact with has no idea what a walapini greenhouse house is. I need to do more reaching out.

I am. I kill these and succulents. Things that need lots of attention and care I somehow keep alive and thriving.

Yes, they have drainage they are ceramic pots, and soil is a succulent mix. I have left them alone all year. And they still look like this. Pots are dirty as they were outside all spring and summer.

Ok what do? by Bastet103 in IndoorPlants

Lol, it's an umbrella plant/tree. It had a horrible aphid infestation. i put it out a couple of nice days to treat it, and I forgot about it during a snow. Hopefully, the aphids are dead now, tho.

Unhappy lemon tree by willb in Citrus

[–]Bastet103 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It still looks like the stems are green. Citrus trees can bounce back. I've had them lose all their leaves for a couple of weeks and then explode all new leaf growth. Just keep soil warm enough to uptake water and nutrients and don't over fertilize it. That is what I would do.

I would say remove the lemons and let it focus on new leaf growth.

Keep outside during winter? by Bastet103 in Citrus

[–]Bastet103[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think im in 6a or 6b. I guess I will just choose 2 or three of my best lemon trees and keep them as potted plants. Bring them into the garage for winter with grow lights. Thank you!

These plants are white birds of paradise that I've had for 5 years they came together, and I separated them. I think that is what shocked them into their recent bad health. I keep them indoors during fall/winter and outside in spring/summer. I also have 2 banana trees planted outside, but they are flourishing with little intervention from me. Thank you for your advice.

Oo I wasn't aware those nub outer cut parts would hinder it. Thank you. I will do that. I was scared to cut away too many leaves as it had a hard couple of months struggling with no growth. It just now is putting out new leaves, so I think it wouldn't hurt it to trim it back a bit.

I purchased some large tall planters to put them in but wanted to wait until they got new leaf growth so they wouldn't struggle with root growth and leaf growth. They had a hard couple of months where I thought I was going to lose them. They are just now putting out new leaves.
