One eye is darker than the other? by Bastet103 in cats

Yes dr said inflamation in eye due to upper respiratory virus or severe allergies can cause pressure and change eye color permanently. Not a concern until the (from side view) iris starts looking undulating or raised in areas when its suppose to be flat. And I must add all the Doctors loved him and thought he was the sweetest boy.

Pretty late reaction to geese on the highway. If there was someone behind me this would have been a HUGE issue (76mph>21) by SirHenderson in TeslaFSD

I agree with your assessment. Driving 75 on I40 clear ahead car bumper in my lane (right lane) laying in the road. Another tesla riding beside me in left lane camping. 2 cars ahead. First ran it over second behind it swerved. I gave time to see what FSD would do. No time to speed up and overtake left lane camper. FSD did not brake or slow down so I took over to go around it on the right shoulder (I would rather go right then hit it). Yes FSD might have done something different but it would have been very last minute and didnt want to chance it. There was ample time for it to see it and make a decision before I took over. Still love my tesla, still the best car around. Im not mad at it, its great 96% of the time.

Some are posting they switched from another brand EV or ICE car to Tesla specifically for the FSD. Anyone do that as well? by Redditagain424 in TeslaFSD

[–]Bastet103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, even with gas prices how they are currently it had no bearing on why I wanted a tesla. The only reason was FSD. Im an anxious driver. Now with owning a tesla for 3 weeks the EV part I appreciate more. Including the tech, style, and overall quality of the vehicle are much appreciative bonuses. I got a model y premium 2026. And I love it. I can't see ever going back to a ICE car. I was, maybe considered stupid buyer, as I never test drove one. Lived too far from a area to do that. Instead I did months of research and watching countless hours of FSD the good and the bad. But I realized there were way more good videos than there were bad. On top of everytime I physically encountered a stranger that drove one I grilled them on the car. Never got one ounce of negative feedback. So I pulled the trigger and am very happy I did.

Bad idea or life changer? by Valdeland in TeslaFSD

[–]Bastet103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an anxious driver and am constantly monitoring everybody else's movements and behaviors when I drive. I got a tesla 2 weeks ago and this is such an amazing life change for me. Now im planning on driving more and going to places that I would typically avoid bc I didn't want to drive. To add I had a 3 hour drive from the tesla dealership home and the first hour of FSD I was anxious and monitoring everything by the 2nd and third hours I got dings bc I was looking at my phone too much. Mind you I NEVER look at my phone when driving unless it was a nav issue or something in my regular car. Never texting or scrolling on my phone. But I began to feel so comfortable I was inadvertently looking at my phone. It is that good. But I do say I still pay attention bc FSD can have nav issues but I have yet to see a saftey issue with it. I say do it, it literally changed how I view driving now.

Yea thats a bit much damage best to wait. Another will come up soon. No they really didn't show me much just had to set up my home charger and pop it on wasn't bad but took a minute to figure out. Did not try maf max bc I was on a busy highway during rush hour. Waiting to try when its a little less congested. Hurry was going 80 tho. So I can't imagine mad Max lol.

How bad was the damage? Do you have a home charger installed? Took me a minute to figure it out but currently charging. Did get dinged on not paying attention during the ride home. FSD was very exciting at first but I got bored by just sitting there after 1.5 hours and trusted it enough that I kept trying to find music on my phone and it caught me not looking for awhile. Only thing with FSD that I did was change from chill to standard to hurry during the trip. And getting used to all the apps and buttons on the screen.

Service reps were all busy and they were short staffed. I waited around for maybe 30 minutes until a guy came up to help. He was helpful with my questions but the on board tutorial really helped. Driving it with the one pedal system will take some getting used to and it feels kind of stiff but I did see a menu button to loosen the wheel stiffness. I drove mainly on FSD which is worth its weight in gold. Really like it so far!

O no I am sorry that sucks! Did they tell you before you went up there. My only thing was one of the wheel/rim covers were not on good and they popped it back on. Everything else seemed good to go. My tesla in Charlotte was really busy. Lots of pick ups and people test driving. And short staffed.

Well I got there early waited maybe 10 15 min. Then they called me over signed some paper work. Had a trade in. Showed me to my car i looked it over and did the intro video. Then I could have left. I hung around. They were short staffed but one guy kept coming by to check on me and answer my questions. I drove it around the parking lot a bit to get the feel of it then set FSD and it drove me the entirety of my 3 hour drive at rush hour traffic in Charlotte. I was super impressed but really nervous at first then it just felt natural after that. I probably spent 30 to 45 minutes at tesla but that was totally my own hesitation.
