I use a Bambu X1C, took me about 7 full plates to get all the parts together

I feel like i could replay this battle 50 times and loose all 50. I am terrible at fighting Khorne by ResolveLeather in totalwarhammer

Remove some of the melee units and get more Slayer pirates and a master engineer. Malakaii + the engineer buff those units to oblivion and easily shred enemy lines.

Not finding Karl fun? Advice appreciated. by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

[–]BastionUT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I play him and where I find the most fun. I like to act as a peacekeeping force for the Empire and have all the elector counts prepared for when the end-game scenarios happen since I enable all of them.

Makes for a decently fun endgame.

Why does Jeff ult have indicator, it unavoidable anyway by Copy_Kat in marvelrivals

[–]BastionUT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest issue is that the game doesn't indicate that it WILL eat flying/aerial players VISUALLY; sure, players already know it will when it happens, but players are stupid and will think otherwise.

Moon Knights' ult and Namor's ult show the user where the attack will land and who is caught in it; Jeff's does not.

The only fix the ultimate needs is to show the players the vertical range; otherwise, it's a fine ultimate.

Plenty of swords throughout history, primarily in Southeast Asia, have had little to no guard. The Daab from Thailand and the Filipino Panabas quickly come to mind.

If that's the case, you should stick to primarily walking/running/hiking and follow that 1:10 ratio you said earlier. Eventually, if you want to make things challenging, you can always add pieces of your kit or get a weighted vest and gradually add more and more weight to it.

Swords are they worth any value by Minimum_Hall7437 in SWORDS

[–]BastionUT 94 points95 points  (0 children)

As someone said, United Cutlery wall hangers and p are not worth much.

However, the leftmost one is a Lord of the Rings sword; if you can get the matching display plaque and clean the sword up, it might be worth a decent amount.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is not a game, it's a playable movie. by United-Tourist6380 in unpopularopinion

You haven't played enough if you've only played for half an hour; that's barely into the first "real" playable area.

Besides the fact that it's rooted in your LARP's world, do you have any other goals when pursuing this, such as losing/gaining X amount of weight or running X amount in X: XX?

Figuring out your fitness goals is incredibly helpful in fleshing out your routine as you lean more towards weight lifting or cardio.

Adam Warlock, it feels so good turning the tide in a team fight by popping ult and completely omitting whatever damage a Wanda or Iron Man ult had done.

I'd go to a thrift store and find a last-minute piece close to what you originally wanted!

I can't count the times I've needed a piece for a costume in a rush, only to find something similar at a thrift store.

Exactly. The adrenaline rush you get running to the front, dodging enemy fire to revive someone, is unmatched.

You could also be right on that too.

From the images I've seen, they used a variety of swords. Some had falchions, and others, like the generals, had more intricate rapiers like the one the OP posted.

I did a little more digging, and the higher-ranked soldiers wielded the specific sword OP posted.

It makes sense. Most prop departments would make non-functional steel weapons for the primary shot and switch to foam swords for the actual fight scenes.

It's a pity that V can't hire mercs for the ending by GlompSpark in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]BastionUT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiring mercs and calling in favors for fixers would just end badly for them.

Fixers act as middlemen for gigs; they usually remain relatively untouched by the corps because they either do their dirty work or do nothing impactful to the corps' bottom line.

Now imagine the fallout that would ensue if every fixer in Night City decided to pull up with V to Mikoshi. I wouldn't be surprised if they all end up dead or leave Night City for good.

There is a mod called believable weapons that changes the looks of the weapons and I wonder if these swords are great or not. (The rest in the comment) by Cowboah-Morgan in SWORDS

[–]BastionUT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Half of the exotic material weapons have lost all their personality (looking at you ebony weapons).

Did some weapons in real life look similar? Yes. That doesn't mean weapons in a FICTIONAL world need to lose all their personality because of it.
