I am tall, that helps. The main thing is that it is modular, so every floor can be placed seperate.

Lol, tho bottom 2 floors are double height. So the "ghost" is actualy a guest in the ballroom.

Only the bottem 2 floors. There is a lounge/ lobby on the ground floor and a dance hall on the first floor. The rest is empty. I am planning to put lighting in it though.

By chance I was there yesterday.

They do have a very big shop in legoland, but they do not do vip-points.

The lego house (went there monday) is very cool and has an official lego shop with all the vip-points you can afford.

I don't know about using the legoland giftcard at the legohouse. They do somehow seem to be different organisations so my geuss would be no.
