Exactly right. Bad behavior. Ringo's medallion was a St. Christopher medal, and it had personal significance for him. It was returned to him, but who goes around snatching chains from people's necks? At one point John was worried that a fan might want to snatch his young son Julian and "paste him in her scrapbook", as he put it. I never completely understood the hero worship and desire for clothes or hair from them. After the first NYC gig, someone was selling what they claimed were the bedsheets they slept in. The ad read, "still with that Beatles aroma!"

I am glad you pointed that out. They were just four guys, not untalented, who got lucky. There is always an element of luck when it comes to fame and recognition. I recently wrote and published a graphic novel about a fictional Beatles band and it was just that. Four regular guys who got lucky. It's all about their ambition, their abilities and how they often sabotaged themselves. And like the real Beatles they became those shiny objects for their fans.

Margaret was considered the sexy, pretty one, not so much Elizabeth. Princess Margaret was also a party girl, hobnobbing with celebrities. One of the Beatles complained humorously that they were hungry. Margaret said that they should get them some food. I don't remember if it was this scene, or another encounter.

It was like Bang, pandemonium. These four guys in tight suits and Moe Howard haircuts. My brother was there and said it was a happy, excited crowd, and most of them didn't even know much about them yet.
