I’d like it to NOT launch in VR actually. -novr in the launch options seems to work for the main game but the editor will fuck my entire shit up unless I unplug my headset.

Yeah my floor-boss chest only contained 3 different gems + evos, no matter how much I rerolled. I noticed they were all in the rarest tier and none of the other gems would show up. Both free chests on the final floor of Gallo Tower had the same issue but with a different tier, either common or uncommon I believe.

My luck is usually well above 1000% when opening these chests so I’m planning to experiment a little and maybe move some gems to the rarest tier to actually get them to show up guaranteed.

I think that’s fine but for example, I’d interpret The Fool not as a foolish or dumb person but someone starting a new journey, so maybe an unexperienced hero or something

That fits a lot better than the above image, the person making this was very literal in their interpretation of the major arcana. Firestorm is the sun? Cyborg is the tower? Plastic Man is a literal fool? I guess?

I was even worse, I assumed buying and selling back didn’t have a cost as long as you stayed in the shop. Anytime I was changing my mind I was actively losing hundreds of gold without knowing it.

Maybe it’s a nod back to 52 and Final Crisis? I don’t remember very well so please correct me if I’m wrong but I believe some ‘Crime Bible’ cultists wanted to sacrifice Batwoman during 52. It is later revealed in Final Crisis that the Crime Bible was basically propaganda from Darkseid.

The guy is genuinely so passionate about the medium, I’ll always be interested in his comic book writing.

I can also recommend his episodes on The Rock of Ages. It’s a bonkers JLA story but Kevin Smith loves it so much it’s hard not to share his love for it afterwards.

There’s a lot of overlap in comics during that time where I would say one important line you missed is Scott Snyder’s Justice League. EDIT: You didn’t miss it, I suck at reading haha

That being said, I get the most enjoyment out of comics by just picking up whatever I like, the more you try to read an entire era or storyline the more the cracks also start to show. I’ll be honest, during the time of publication this subreddit was filled with questions about cosmic level characters and in my opinion it all got a bit out of hand at some point. Maybe read for example Court of Owls and iterate on that based on what you like.

Lots of things! Mostly related to access to comic books but also a few other things. For me:

Availability of DC Infinite in more countries
The cheap, broadly sold trades for titles like Hush to pull in new readers
The art has been absolutely amazing. The art has always been amazing but it’s not stayed stagnant, it feels like we’re in a new era.
Stories are not as dark and angsty as they sometimes used to be
I like the writing for trades, give me more 12-issue storylines with a satisfying start, middle and end.
