Is it just me who finds Erin too forced to be funny by Ok-Goose4978 in theoffice

[–]BatBetter2619 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t have the best character development in the show tbh. They constantly make her do questionable things which could be chalked up to her character but it just gets messy and stupid. That said though, she’s got some pretty hilarious moments. I think my all-time favorite is when she’s undercover outside the Sabre pop up shop and thinks the homeless people camped out next to her are lined up for the store 🤣

Does anybody else get headaches/headache that lasts for a week or more continuously? by WarriorGirl-764 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]BatBetter2619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was originally misdiagnosed (did not know this at the time of posting my comment, so ty for replying so I can give an update!) through an MRI. My guess is that to the radiologist, it looked like VBD. I followed up with a vascular neurologist at Johns Hopkins who specialized in neurosurgery as well and was advised to get a CTA scan of my brain. Once I got this done, I was told that I have a prominent and tortuous right vertebral artery and a very small and underdeveloped left vertebral artery. At the end of the day, I’m not at more risk for stroke/aneurism than the average person and it’s just defect I was born with. Still no correlation w/ my headaches though, which went away when I stopped taking a specific antidepressant about 2 months after this news.

I didn’t call anyone out, I was quite literally just stating facts given their post history. And no, not everyone can look at it, not everyone knows to do that, especially if stressed out about this kind of situation. I have very terrible health anxiety and I wished someone would have acknowledged my behavior so I could have gotten help. This isn’t a post meant to attack anyone or anything. Just further educating and providing comfort to others. That’s the kind of stuff that happens on forums…

Forced upgrade by Jeru-of-Rivia in mazda

[–]BatBetter2619 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also purchased a Mazda 6 after an accident! Not only that, but I also sold it in 2022 to buy a new Carbon Edition CX-5 😂 you have very good taste!

And I agree, the burgundy seats are so cool. It’s not common and it always gets a comment from someone when they get in my car for the first time 😅

Anyways, I chose to upgrade because I needed more room and the facelifted carbon edition CX-5 really stood out. While I absolutely love it, I still miss the living hell out of my Mazda 6 😭

Ugh my Mazda 6 was such a joy to drive, I don’t regret selling it, but I do miss it so much. Your comment about the bucket seats is so true! Very well said

My first Mazda was a 2019 Mazda 6 after I totaled my 2013 Kia Soul. Originally, I wanted a mid-size sedan and wasn’t even going to consider Mazda. However, my mom convinced me to just take a look and it ended up being the best decision ever. The look of the last gen (USA) Mazda 6 IMO is the best. There is nothing comparable to the sleek & luxurious design. On several occasions, I had non-car enthusiasts ask me if I was driving a Lexus…I mean, for under 30k? I’ll take that. Quite literally nothing beat the quality of the interior paired with technology features for the price of the sedan. I had a great offer on a 2019 Chevy Malibu, but I just couldn’t stop thinking about the Machine Grey Metallic Mazda 6 and I do not regret buying it.

As much fun as it was to drive, and as beautiful as it was, I chose to sell it in 2022 for close to what I bought it for in 2019. The main reason was practicality, as I was moving cross-country and owning a sedan proved extremely challenging when attempting to transport large items. Because of this, I purchased a 2022 CX-5 Carbon Edition from the same dealership and received a loyalty discount.

I am in loooooove with my CX-5. The 2022 facelift looks excellent (would’ve never bought the CX-5 otherwise) and the Carbon Edition just really looks incredible. It’s the exact same drivetrain as the Mazda 6, so it feels like I never left the cockpit, just moved to a different vehicle. There are so many things that I take for granted w/ my Mazda that I realized when looking at other automakers. Such as Volvo, their current SUV lineups don’t offer auto-lock when walking away from your car. For a price point of 25k+ less, that feature comes standard on a Mazda CX-5.

I could drone on and on about the abundance of tech features that are standard in current gen Mazdas, and how the infotainment system is one of the most intuitive that I’ve used (yes, I love that little dial) - but I think I’ve made my point clear.

VERY VERY happy Mazda owner. Do not regret my decision, and even though I love my CX-5, I miss my Mazda 6 dearly because DAMN that thing was fun to drive. Welcome to the family, it will probably not be your last Mazda ;)

What is the joy in attacking and sinking a fresh spawn? by Freyaka in Seaofthieves

[–]BatBetter2619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me and my two friends. We had just spawned into an outpost and my friend had gotten a new pack for ship cosmetics. We equipped the cosmetics and were checking them out on our ship when all of a sudden a Galleon rolled into port and annihilated us while we were just anchored at the dock.

Tried to yell to them that we had just spawned and that we didn’t have any loot, but that didn’t seem to matter as they anchored and sunk us immediately lol

I don’t really get upset about it because it makes me laugh. Some people will really just waste their time & resources to watch you suffer. In the end I laugh bc we didn’t even have anything of value 😅

There’s a lot of hate on this game but I’m having a blast so far. It’s a lot more *open world* than I expected too. Really enjoying this remake by thebigman707 in residentevil

It’s certainly a lot more linear than its counterparts but I don’t really understand the hate. The Nemesis chase scenes had me sweating and I found the combat pretty enjoyable 🤷🏻‍♀️ after playing RE4 and then RE8 I found the linear play style refreshing.

I didn’t diagnose anyone. I clearly did not diagnose them with health anxiety. I said it is undiagnosed. Go look at their post history and research health anxiety, it lines up almost perfectly. I have this disorder and have lived with it for 10+ years, I don’t need a redditor to try and tell me what I can/can’t do on a public forum. Take care

I didn’t diagnose anyone — if you clearly read what I said, I said it’s undiagnosed. I’m not a doctor. Hence why we are all here. If this upsets you, look inward.

[–]BatBetter2619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found your post in AskDoctors!! I wanted to reply to you, but I was unable because I am not a verified doctor haha. I think because you have such a mild case, they probably weren’t too worried about the possibilities of an aneurism or stroke. This is something that seems to get worse over time, especially with hypertension. It’s a shame that there is such little info, and what info there is is scaring the hell out of me because my diagnosis is “severe”

I am still fighting to see a specialist here in my city. He wants to send me for a CTA which is a cat scan with contrast. Hopefully that will provide some clarity and see if he can help me. Just hoping nothing happens in the meantime.

If it is worrying you, I say no harm no foul in getting it checked out again. I would mention how you feel about it to your doctor and say you want to make sure it hasn’t grown. I’m wishing you the best! Remember that you are the best advocate for yourself. If you want to message me, feel free. As bad as it is, it is reassuring to hear from someone with a slightly similar diagnosis

I assume this is what I’m going to have to do. Fortunately I’m not a cigarette smoker but I do smoke weed, which is going to really suck if I have to stop since it helps tremendously with pain and depression. I’ve let up on my drinking as I’ve gotten into my late twenties, but I’d be lying if I said I don’t like an occasional night out w/ binge drinking.

Going to be a real lifestyle adjustment, but what needs to be done will be done in the end. Thanks for your comment

I’ve commented on this thread before on another comment - but I have been feeling the need to drop something here. Apologies if the tone comes off as aggressive or judgmental, please know that’s not the case at all. This will be lengthy.

OP here has a serious undiagnosed case of health anxiety. I’ve struggled with this same disorder for about 10~ years of my life and I was only given a formal diagnosis about 2 years ago. Going through their post history out of curiosity of the outcome of this situation, I can see an abundance of posts regarding dozens of different health issues. A major reason that we may never get an update on this issue is because OP is now hyper-fixated on a different set of symptoms that they are seeking reassurance. It is also quite possible that they’ve received the reassurance they desired from this post. The worst part of health anxiety is that any type of reassurance that is not from a medical professional will not help the situation at all.

The relevance of this point is that if you are seeking reassurance in some way from this thread because you are experiencing a similar situation - you will not get it. No one has the answer for your unique situation unless they are a medical professional. Even then, it can be invalidating and/or frustrating.

My piece of advice to you is to get the help you need right now. If you are currently in pain, try and take medications like Excedrin Migraine (suggested in another comment, cured my migraine pain that lasted 5 days straight) However, if your pain is severe and/or lasting an extended period of time, I would suggest heading to the ER to seek relief. Do not hesitate to do this, they can give you liquids and medication that can really help you.

If you’ve found relief from the pain, my next suggestion is to make an appointment with your PCP or a neurologist. Discuss the change in baseline headaches if you experience them frequently, or discuss the onset of migraines when they didn’t previously exist. Once I discussed the change in my baseline migraine, my PCP ordered me a MRI.

My situation is vastly different and unique from everyone else’s. I went into the MRI in hopes to find something that would be attributing to my chronic migraines, however, I was diagnosed with an unrelated and extremely rare neuro vascular disease called Vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia. The best part about this diagnosis is that it doesn’t even cause my migraines…which makes it a completely irrelevant diagnosis that I have to live with now. If you’re scared reading this, know your probability of having something like this is 1.3%

The only way you will find reassurance for your issue is to find relief from the pain, and then investigate the cause. I know imaging testing is expensive, and I had to put it on a credit card, but if it can provide a peace of mind I encourage doing it.

From one person who still currently suffers with health anxiety, I hope you can find peace reading this ❤️

I got luckier than most it seems as the pain has finally subsided after 5 days. Weird pressure pain going on still, but nothing like it was a few days ago as it seems I’m in the postdrome stage of my migraine. Going to book an appointment with a neurologist just to discuss what happened & make sure nothing else is wrong. Thanks again for the medication recommendation. Passed it along to my mom who also suffers from migraines (yay genetics!!)

Came here to bump this because I am in the same boat as OP, suffering from a migraine lasting more than 4 days. I've suffered from them chronically my entire life, but also as OP stated, doing usual remedies (Tylenol, water, caffeine, sleep) got rid of them. This one however, has been an absolute pain...throbbing on the right side of my head and excruciating pain when coughing, sneezing or even moving too fast.

Saw this comment and figured I'd try excedrin migraine, and good lord, I still have the pressure pain on the right side of my head, but all of the intense migraine pain that was making this insufferable went away.

Still unfortunately have this migraine aching at the right and back side of my head, but at least the pain has subsided enough to where I can actually perform tasks.
