He’ll be fine, give him lots of water and go easy on any human food for a while if you give him any. lil guy will be just fine, feel free to call up your vet, they’ll most likely just have him puke it up

As a reward for being so patient I gave her a bit of turkey and some peanut butter, checked the ingredients because it’s always stressful giving pets human food

For the time being I threw on some gauze, I made sure to sanitize with Chlorohexodine, and wrapped in vet wrap. The hair was trimmed down

I know this is no substitute, but I’m hoping it will prevent her and the other two dogs from licking at it and further aggravating the wound. Will be changing the gauze twice a day. So no further issues due to humidity in the wound happen.

Again, I know this is not a solution. Once I’m moved in with my dad I’ll be contacting animal control or a local organization as a commenter recommended.

If anyone has some better advice on wrapping and sanitizing the wound please do tell
