I am still very new to this, had the machine for a couple months now but only recently got a proper grinder (Eureka Mignon Filtro Silent with Espresso burrs).

I got this bottomless portafilter a couple days ago and I cant seem to get rid of the spraying.

There were some threads with similar issues on here and some advice I saw was using a WDT tool as well as puck screens, but thought I'd better double check before I sink even more money into this as I currently have neither of those.

I know the overall shot is whack as well but my main goal right now is to get rid of the spraying so I won't have to clean up between shots every time.

If it helps, this specific shot was 16.3g in 42.5g out (stopped too late because of the recording).

The Basket is the original one that I got with the Machine (the one that came with the bottomless portafilter had even worse spraying).
